The journey
Mélanie Simard is a visual artist from the Québec City region. Her practice grew from a desire to work intuitively—with material, gesture and color as equal partners.
Best known for vibrant floral compositions, she works across canvas, wood, aluminum and paper. Her paintings have been exhibited in Canada, the United States and Europe.
